To the race directors & volunteers:

As a sponsor, Central Progressive Bank was very proud to be involved. From the energy and excitement at the Kids Duathlon, to the final Adult crossing the rain soaked finish line, swearing at the race directors with a smile on their face.

I was very proud of all the kids who participated, but was most impressed with the parents, volunteers and spectators encouraging words and support! Hopefully someone got a group picture of those kids at the starting line, I thought Steve was going to get run over.

The park is a unique setting for an off-road series. Plenty of parking, facilities and terain to mix things up. Hopefully the entire series will stay off-road and continue to provide a very unique experience for Kids and Adults alike!

Congratulations and Thanks to all who supported the Race!

Once again the weather proved to be a GREAT factor in the second race of our series. Participating in the race has really been a challenge to me since I'm new to the whole off road duathlon sport. After the "cold bowl" I had forgotten what it was like to be running through the mud and carrying my bike in calf deep water. It's funny how the feeling comes rushing back to you like it was yesterday.

I must say that the best sight was seeing all the kids participating in the kids duathlon. I never would have guessed that kind of turn out. I couldn't believe how fast some were. AMAZING!!!

I am eagerly looking forward to our next race in October.
